Overcrowded and unorganized. They have too many patients so it's always a long wait. Your doctor's never remembers who you are or why your there. I asked for some paperwork to be filled out and it took a month to get it back and on top of that it was done incorrectly so I had to wait an extra couple of days. It even took 30 mins on the phone to set an appointment. They really need to get it together. I think because most of the mothers are on state insurance they don't care as much. Those with private insurance would never have this much trouble.

I'm what would be considered a high-risk pregnancy due to having HG (hyperemesis). It feels like I'm constantly battling a new level of hell from Dante's Inferno. I'm over 9 weeks into my pregnancy and I've yet to have an ultra-sound or any lab work done to make sure my baby is doing okay. I get my care (unfortunately) from the ER because this place is awful. They were more concerned about me signing a consent from for drug testing (which is a violation of your constitutional rights, by the way. Google it, the Supreme Court ruled that drug testing during pregnancy and at birth can only be done if the mother consents, which means you DO NOT have to sign their form. Even if they tell you as they did me that they could not treat you if you do not sign, tell them you will sue them. And you can.) They are lack luster on making first time mothers feel like it's worth having a baby, the doctor I saw twice who I come to find out wont even be the actual OB assigned to me told me she would not prescribe me Zofran (there is an open litigation against it though none of the details of that case or the baby in it can be proven to be tied to the use of Zofran) she said "I have a family to feed, too." Upon filling out the paper work for this place the woman that sat with me and my fiance said about my pregnancy that "You won't be making this mistake again." Implying that it is a mistake for me to have a child. Combine that with her bewildered looks when she found out that a) I am not Hispanic and actually European/Philippino/Middle Eastern/American Indian/Islander made me feel like I'm not Mexican enough for the baby club. The offense didn't end there either, she was shocked to find out that I was college educated and made a face of disgust when I divulged that my Grandmother carries a recessive trait for Sickle Cell which I felt the need to clarify that it's because some of my blood on that side come from the rain forests and Azores and not because I'm part African American (even if i had been so the frick what). So far as I can tell the doctors do not care here and the staff is racist. Unless they are in a phase where they are desperate for funding so they have to actually do a good job and make you feel welcome, do not go here for pregnancies.

Great personal care and attention, but scheduled to close and be replaced next year so building is antiquated and upgrades are likely canceled, heating and cooling can be off 5-10 degrees. Very accommodating for late night visits.

This is a good place to go to. They are very friendly and helpful
