If I could give half a star I would. They have nice stuff. All smiles and very nice until something goes wrong! A friend (keep in mind she is in her 70’s) bought 2 rooms of furniture, was not happy with color of a couch so she went back to see what can be done to fix this, and the salesman yelled at her, she was upset. She went home to call the manager he also yelled at her so much that she had to just hang up the phone! WOW I am just shocked. I will not go buy from them!
This place has a wide selection of furniture and it really has amazing prices. We went to Visalia to buy bedroom furniture and looked at 3 stores in Visalia and on chance we went to Salmon's. They were the best in service, and price/quality.
My fiancé and I were furniture shopping all day Friday in Fresno and Visalia. Saturday morning we decided to stop in at Salmon's and since their Black Friday sale ran through Sunday we were able to find a beautiful couch with chaise. We loved the color of the dark grey couch in the window display, but the size of another couch in the store that was bigger. We were able to put that color on the other couch because it was the same manufacturer! We also were able to order a matching storage ottoman with two separate storage compartments. We also purchased a 10 yr warranty on the couch that the manufacturer offers that was extremely reasonable. Our salesmen Doug was super nice and let us browse the store alone while he would pop in to check on us. When we found a couch we liked he definitely assisted and let us know all the options we had. This was by far the cleanest furniture store we stopped in at and had amazing service! If you're having trouble finding something I highly suggest stopping in there and delivery was the best price we found. =)
I had a GREAT experience shopping at Salmon's Furniture Galleries! We were shopping for a couch and love seat for my mother. Shortly after entering the store we were greeted by furniture consultant, Doug Carnley, who attentively listened as we told him what we were looking for. Doug shared his extensive knowledge of the products in the store. He explained the aspects of what qualities to look for in furniture and the different benefits of each brand. He walked us through the store pointing out pieces that might interest us and answered our questions completely. Doug then left us to look through the store on our own giving us time to discuss the many options available and reappeared at the perfect time to answer more questions. He was kind, patient and knowledgeable. We never felt pressured or hurried.
Went in to look for a mattress. Salesman approaches us and gives us waters, very nice and tries to help us find a good deal. We find one we like and tell them that we will be there the following weekend to pick it up- and they write down our order. No money has been processed- was told it would be processed at the time of pick up. We end up finding a better deal somewhere else, so I call to tell them to cancel our order and the salesman shows his true colors! He yells at me saying "well if it's a Better deal than what we have here it's probably terrible quality, thanks for wasting my time" and hung up.

I ended up purchasing an amazing sectional with 3 recliners that are push button controlled. Trina assisted us with financing. She filled out the paperwork for the 12 months, no interest financing with speed and efficiency. Honestly, I've never seen anyone complete paperwork so quickly.
